FAQ
How do I send my bouquet to Glad + Grace?
Bouquets must be sent as soon as possible after the wedding. Overnight shipping is strongly encouraged if you are not in the Tauranga area. Some flowers may brown or lose petals during shipping. We will work with your flowers in the condition they are received in. Your order confirmation email will include detailed shipping instructions.
Can I drop off my bouquet and/or pick up my completed order?
Of course! If you are in the Tauranga area, you are welcome to schedule a drop-off or pick-up.
How long does the preservation process take?
As there is a bit of time involved in flower preservation, it can take up to 12 weeks to finish your order.
Do you preserve other flowers apart from wedding flowers?
Absolutely! We can preserve flowers from any special occasion or other bespoke requests. Get in touch to tell us what you have in mind.
My bouquet contains dried / artificial flowers; can these be included in my Preserved Blooms Frame?
While we cannot guarantee the use of every flower in your bouquet, most flowers – fresh, dried or artificial – can be included for our Preserved Blooms service.
My bouquet is already dry – can you still work with it to make a Preserved Blooms design?
Yes! Even though it might not be our standard look, flowers that have already been dried can definitely be used to make a beautiful design.
How long will my Preserved Blooms bouquet last?
Pigmentation in dried flowers will naturally fade over time. To keep your bouquet looking as vibrant as possible for as long as possible, we recommend displaying it away from bright lighting and sunlight. Choosing Art UV Glass over standard glass is also recommended.
My bouquet is all white – will this work for a Preserved Blooms frame?
Definitely! All white bouquets are quite common for weddings, so we work with them often. The whites tend to turn a lovely creamy beige colour when dried.
What is the difference between the shallow and deep Preserved Blooms frame options?
In the shallow frame option, flowers may touch or even be pressed up against the glass. This choice provides a compact and minimalist look and is suitable for bouquets with smaller or flatter flowers.
On the other hand, the deep frame option offers more space between the preserved flowers and the glass. Typically, the flowers will not touch the glass, allowing for a more three-dimensional and spacious presentation. This option is particularly recommended for bouquets with larger, more voluminous flowers.
What is the difference between standard glass and Art UV Glass?
- UV Protection: Art UV Glass is specially designed to provide UV protection. It filters out harmful ultraviolet rays from sunlight, preventing them from causing color fading and damage to your preserved bouquet. Standard glass, on the other hand, does not offer this level of UV protection.
- Clarity: Art UV Glass maintains exceptional clarity and virtually invisible protection. It does not affect the visual quality of your framed bouquet, allowing you to see every detail and color with precision. Standard glass, while clear, may not provide the same level of UV filtration.
Can I customise the look of my plaster cast?
Yes, we offer a range of options including clean white, vintage brown and contrasting black.
What are the payment terms?
Our payment terms offer flexibility to suit your preferences. You have two options:
1. Full Payment Upfront: Secure your order by making the full payment at the time of booking.
2. Deposit + Remaining Balance: Alternatively, you can opt to pay a $200 deposit upon booking, with the remaining balance due the week that your flowers are delivered to Glad & Grace.
